Today I’ve been thinking. Just thinking. Thinking about how I used to absolutely HATE reading more than one book at a time. Nowadays, I’m a pro at multi-reading.
I used to get so paranoid that if I started more than one book at a time, I would lose where I am up to in some of the stories, or that I would neglect one book because I’m too invested in another one. This was my pet peeve – leaving a book unfinished.
Since I’ve started my blog, I find that it’s not too bad reading multiple books. My current benefits from this are that I get to read books straight away, especially if there’s any current hype around the book, and I get to enjoy more at the same time. I also get to catch up on my TBR quicker, well, it feels like it’s quicker. I don’t think it actually is.
What do you guys think? Do you like reading one book at a time or more?
I used to feel the same way! I am now able to read more than one book at a time, but I have noticed that I always tend to gravitate more towards one. I need to do better at varying the amount I spend reading each one.

Exactly! I can understand the gravitational pull to a certain book haha and I’m right there with you working on varying my time too 😛

I’m exactly the same- I used to have to read one book at a time, but blogging has made me more of a multi reader, as I sometimes have to pause one book then pick up another in order to meet deadlines

Yes! So relatable with the blogging. I have a deadline every week so I find my self consistently putting down my other books for the Books That Wander TBR instead haha. I’m working on making time for others 😛
