I feel like, this book, has to be one of everyones’ favourites (as long as they have read it). It is such a lovely story to read. Old or young, I think The Secret Garden has a positive effect on everyone.
While I was reading this book, it brought back so many memories of how I felt reading it for the first time as a kid. You get that with any old favourite that you re read. But this book was just so nice, and it made me feel comfortable and content.
The Secret Garden, I’ll definitely say, is a great book for children that are just starting to read bigger books. The words and sentences flow nicely, and everything is very inspiring when you read it. Even as an adult (for me I’m supposedly an adult but I’m still in denial), this book is great to have on your bedside table or with you while you’re snuggled up on the couch relaxing on your weekend break.
Frances Hodgson Burnett does a great job in telling the story of The Secret Garden. It’s quite magical and
I honestly can’t pick any flaws with this book. I also cannot praise it enough. It most definitely is a treasure to keep on a bookshelf. If you don’t have it please go get it.
I feel whoever picks up this book will be immensely satisfied with what they read. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
